A close-up of Popeye's height... He weighs a heavy 23kg in Jun 09!

Popeye was rescued at Pan Island Expressway. Hence given the name Popeye or PIE for short.

Don't be deceived by his looks as he is still a puppy despite his size!

Extremely playful, a small boy at heart.

Good with humans and dogs.

Sweetest Star

Star with his E-collar dated 5 Dec 09.

Fresh wounds can be prominently seen on his body.

Star is suffering from skin cancer. This is the second or third time in which he had to return back to the vet to stitch up his wounds.

According to the vet, he might not have sufficient skin to "patch" back his wounds as fresh new wounds would re-surfaced again which are quite common for a dog with skin cancer.

Thankfully, his cancer will not spread to other dogs which is a relief to us. We are hoping that something could be done to help Star overcome this stage in life.

We bet he must be feeling sad and frequent trips to the vet is an extremely painful experience for him.

Praying for a miracle... *sigh*
